Question
I do not agree with abortion at all, but I wanted to now what if the pregnancy was not planned.  For example if the woman was rapped does it give her an excuse to abort.  Or if a mother's life was in danger because of the child, does she have the right to abort.  I was pregnant 3 years ago and the fetus never made it to the placenta, it stayed in my tube and that was in danger of killing me.  The fetus was going to grow and explode after the tube could not take it and then kill me because I would not now that I was bleeding from inside.  The doctor told me that we had to get ride of it by injecting fluids in me ASAP. I did not want to or wanted to agree, but she told me that the fetus would not even make it through 3 months and that it would die taking me with it.  Was I wrong?

Answer
Hi Bridgett,

Thanks for you question on Abortion.

I understand your situation and I think the Doctors were right in their decision to discontinue the pregnancy. The decision to abort was right as your life was in danger. Not to worry.

Pray that God will continue to lead your family and you to a better understanding of His providence. God bless.
