In my point of view reading the Bible, No matter how much Satan has tried to spoil the gospel of Jesus with false teachers, and killing Christians over the years, I still can't see any reason for which they are so many denominations which call themselves relitions, so what is the true religion for you?

Hi Ron,
  I do not call biblical Christianity a religion though I know it is seem by some as such.   There is only one true faith, (which is a better word), and that is what the Bible teaches.   God is not the author of confusion nor denominations.    That is the work of man. Sadly, most churches, who claim to represent Christ, do not fully believe the Bible nor follow it.   Denominations came into existence when men picked and chose different parts of the Bible to follow and what they will not follow. This is the reason for the division that is evidenced in the existence of some many groups claiming to serve Christ.  Only a doctrinally sound assembly is one that is approved of God.
  The fact is only a church who believes the whole of God's word and practices it a true New Testament church.

  Actually denominations are a good thing ultimately because you can know what a church believes by their denominational affiliation.  What you learn generally is what doctrinal errors they believe and practice and avoid them.
  I am an Independent Fundamental Baptist by conviction, which is a name that describes what kind of church we are and what we believe.  You have to call yourself by some name and this name explains what we are. Certainly we are not perfect, but we strive to follow the whole counsel of God's word.   We do not consider ourselves be a denomination as such.  I have an article at http://bible-truth.org/BaptistHistory.html titled 'A Brief Survey of Independent Fundamental Baptist Churches -  What are their Beliefs and History" which explains the beliefs of those that use this name.
  True religion is one that believes and follows God's word the Bible without error or compromise.   That is what I try to do and practice.
