Question
I was a baptized catholics around 3 years ago. .
I have decided to leave catholicism since i found that the have many unbiblical doctrines and they have many devotions to mother Mary more than The Lord Himself.
Now I'm a member of charismatic pentecostal church. .
but till now i have one addiction that i can't get myself free from it.
This is the addict of pornography.. I have heard about born again christian who can be inhabited by demons..
is this the possible explanation why does I'm addicted to porn till now? even if i have repent many times I would fall in it again and again.
Even if I have speaking in tongue ? Can speaking in tongue be trusted as the presence of The Holy Spirit (Who is the opposite of evil spirit)
What should I do to end this addiction forever?

Answer
Speaking tongues is not a promise of the Holy Spirit for indeed many demon possessed people do some sort of tongues.  If your group teches that you must speak in tongues to be saved they are not Scriptural and I would encourage you to read it.  In Matt 7 there will be people who thought they cast out demons and such bit are not saved.  Salvation is a free gift of God by receiving Christ as Savior.

First, I would get into a different church for as long as you are seeking signs and having emotional experiences versus working with sound doctrine you will not find any help.

Pornography is like any other habit.  To stop it you must start doing something else. When you find a church get with the pastor and find an accountablity partner to work and pray with you.  Determine when you feel the urge most, alone, weekends etc and find something profitable to do at those times instead of being near the PC.

When you are tempted to lust, pray for the girl and ask God to save her or bless and then ask God to keep you pure so that one day when He gives you a wife you can know true sexual enjoyment with her and not commit adultery with your eyes but that you ma be one heart, mind, souls and body with her.

May God grant you freedom, wisdom and discernment.
