Baptists/Sanctification

Question
What do the Baptist believe about this subject and how do they expect you to become sanctified?

Answer
Very simple actually.  Sanctified means to be set apart.  When we are saved we are sanctified judicially or positionally and hence we are called saints or sanctified ones. We are sheep set apart from the goats though we are not yet in our eternal sheephold. We develop practical sanctification as we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and thus walk in His power to sin less and at times be sinless for a period(s). We learn to discern evil and shun it in acts or associations.  We will one day be completely sanctified when this world passes away and we serve Him without sin or even in the presence of sin for eternity though we will receive our glorified bodies at the Rapture.  For a 1000 yrs we will still be in the presence of fallen people on a sin cursed earth but we will be sanctified in our beings and in our duties at that time.
