QuestionWHERE ARE ADAM AND EVE? ARE THEY IN HELL? HOW DID THEY GET SAVED IF NOT? I KNOW THEY KNEW ABOUT BLOOD SACRIFICE BECAUSE THEIR SONS DID BUT......
AnswerHi Joe,
THanks for this great question. I think that Adam got saved. Luke calls Adam a Son of God.
Luke 3:38
38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
It is true that it may be speaking of the fact that God created him... but I think that this is speaking of a special relationship. Adam and eve had their guilt covered by animal skins... this is the first time death occured in the new world. Able was taught about blood sacrifice and Seth new enough to call upon the name of the Lord.
Genesis 4:25-26
25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. 26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
Those that call upon the name of the Lord are saved.
Romans 10:13
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
A Son of God is someone who has called upon the same of the Lord.
John 1:12
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
Romans 8:15
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
Not everyone is a Son of God.
John 8:44
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
THerefore, since Luke called Adam a Son of God, I believe that he is saved. I will be honest and tell you that I am not sure of this, but this is the way I am leaning. I hope that this helps you.
In Christ
