Baptists/Sabbath

Question
Is it O.K. to do Mission work on Sunday evenings, even though some say we should not work on the sabbath?

Answer
Blessings and thank you for your question.

Jesus was asked this question many times in His ministry.  Over and over again, the Jewish leaders condemned Jesus because he was "working" or doing good on the Sabbath.   Jesus told us "to do unto the least of these."   He did not say "except on the Sabbath."  Anytime you do "work" in the name of Jesus is a great thing.  Go ahead and do your mission.
