Can you please tell me the difference between Baptists and Progressive Baptists.

Hello Lillie,
I am afraid I am not going to be of great help. I am a Pastor in England where the Baptists are structurally quite different. I know the Progesive Baptist Convention broke away because it was frustrated by the lack of progress of Baptists in the work of evangelism. There also appears to be a greater enthusiasm for the work of the Holy Spirit but I expect the main differences are of emphasis and you would be better asking someone pastoring in the USA as such a person would have a better grasp of these differences.
