Baptists/Pretribulation

Question
My question consists of "the pretribulation period and if it truly exists?  Secondly, as many times as I have read that it is false or that it is only true by the KJV, I must say that I am a bit confused.  I study each day, hoping to find closure.  Thank you.  KJV only do I study.

Answer
Paul:

Thank you for your question and for your patience.  I do apologize, I neglected to set "vacation dates" when I was away and unable to take questions.

The "pretribulation period" does indeed exist.  It is simply the time before the 7-year tribulation period discussed in the book of Revelation that follows the rapture of the Church in chapter 4.  So I suppose you could say we're living in the "pretribulation period" right now.

This is not a "kjv only" concept.  While some translations may exclude a discussion on this subject, there are many that include these events in the text.

They study of eschatology is a confusing one for many students of the Bible.  My counsel to you is to keep studying and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance.
