Question
what is the baptist and Mormon view on catholicism? Also what is yall's position on Islam?

Answer
Matthew,

Sorry for the delay in my answer. First, since I am not a Mormon, nor am I an expert in Mormonism I will have to pass on answering how they view Catholicism. As to the Baptist view of catholic view, I would say that most Baptist view the Roman Catholic church as a false church. Here is a brief list of where they disagree...

Baptist; salvation is received by grace through faith
RC; salvation is received by performing the RC sacraments, and by the performance of good works.

Baptist; salvation can never be lost (once-saved-always-saved).
RC; salvation is maintained through the performance of good works.

Baptist; the priesthood every Christian.
RC; selected priesthood.

Baptist; teach the Bible alone is the final authority of the Believer.
RC; teach the Scriptures, RC teaching and RC tradition or the authority for Catholics.

These are but a few of the differences.

As to Islam, our view is that is a false religion for many reasons. Here are a few...

Christians; Jesus is God in the flesh
Islam; Jesus was only a man

Christians; salvation is received through faith in the finished work of Christ.
Islam; salvation by good works.

There are many, many more differences but I hope this helps for now. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Experience

I attended a fundamental independent Baptist church for many years. While attending the church I learned the doctrines and beliefs of the Baptist movement. I now attend an independent Pentecostal church. I have served there as an Elder for fourteen years. I minister in song with the choir and worship team. I am also the new member’s class coordinator, men's ministry director, and the Harvest Riders motorcycle ministry president.
In 1993 the Lord called me to "...preach the Gospel where ever I open the door..." I have had the privilege of ministering God's Word to churches in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. In those meetings we have seen the Lord save, heal, deliver, and fill people will His Spirit.

Organizations
I am ordained through Harvest Church, and with the World Harvest Ministerial Fellowship. I also am a licensed minister with the State of Oklahoma.

Education/Credentials
I am currently enrolled with the Ames Bible College.
