AnswerHi Clifton,
Psalm 150:1-6
Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
We are COMMANDED to praise God with instruments. There is absolutely not one word in the New Testament reversing this admonition here in Psalm 150. David was a man after God's own heart.
To imagine that instruments are evil in church is to attach the value of good or evil to an inanimate object, a practice that God absolutely forbids.
Romans 14:14
14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself...
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge# 1769.
Titus 1:15
15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
The King James Version, #Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
I hope that this helps you.
In Christ
