Question
Why is the Sabbath not observed on the seventh day of the week? Why is the fourth commandment not kept by the deacons and those who seemingly run the Baptist Church?  This is not a derrogatory question but a need to understand.

Thank you for your reply.

Answer
Martha,

The sabbath was moved to the 1st day of the week after Christianity separated from the Jews because Christ rose on the first day of the week so that is when Christians go to worship. I can't answer for any one else when it comes to following commandments because we are each solely responsible for our own actions. We all have the same access to Christ and we all can ask for forgiveness. If we start looking at others and judging their actions we also violate the Bible because we are not to judge others or we will be judged. I would suggest that you worry about you own life and follow God in your way. No one has the right to judge another man. The only Judge is God and we will answer to Him one day for reward or punishment. Happy New Year
