Baptists/Salvation

Question
Hi, I am a born again Christian and I brought my children up with the Bible as authority.  However my older children have a stepmother who is a drug smoker and a practicing witch.  There has been a great deal of angst between us, as when the children were small she abused them, as well as her own son, whom I love very dearly.  The police eventually, after years of me batting my head against a wall, prevented the children from going there, but her own son was left there as a five year old.  I struggle with the guilt torn of rescuing my children but therefore leaving him alone. My children all got saved when they were young, and were all baptized, except my youngest son, who was saved but never got baptized. My older children's younger brother had no Christian influence, and so I don't think he ever heard the Gospel. He was brought up by his mother the witch, who introduced him to drugs, after years of abusing him. He ran away at fourteen and came to me, but he was a terrible mess.  I believe he got my youngest son into drugs, and my oldest daughter. My youngest daughter dabbled and then renewed her faith.
My other three children have totally backslidden, and I am frightened for them. My "stepson" has just woken from a coma after a terrible car crash and is brain damaged.  His mother has been casting spells over him and has her witch friends doing the same. Her influence on my three backslidden children has been very detrimental and she has them convinced I abandoned them and that I am some ex-heroin addict.
This is such a terrible mess. My question, after all this preamble, is are my other three still saved? And how hard is it to break through the terrible web of evil and witchcraft to reach my children's brother? If he is brain damaged, is it possible to ask that God reach him spiritually? Can this be done?
If the Rapture should occur in our lifetime and he is brain damaged, will he go? As he isn't capable any more than a child of making a decision for his salvation?
I'm sorry if this is very involved.

Answer
Hi Ingrid,

I am not sure if any one else has ansered your question yet, but I have just picked it up as it is still on the system.

Yes, it is very involved and messy, this being no fault of your own, so I will do my best for you.
First of all once saved always saved, so yes your children are saved. As for your stepson, remember that God is always in control He knows all what has happened regarding this mess, and your stepson will have the Holy Spirit in him and around him, we have a God of love , a love for all, so do not worry about your stepson, as he is in God's care as are you.

As for the Witch, she is controlled by the Devil, he has deceived her that witchcraft, abuse and drugs are right, we all know the truth and she will be judged for what she is, I know all this must be very hard, but lay it on the Lord , let the Lord deal with it. In the meantime you shoe your children and stepson the love of Jesus and the right way.

This may not be much help, but when you pray ask the Lord for help and guidance and I know he will get you through this as I can tell that the Lord is in you.

Love and God Bless

Expertise

I can answer most questions on the subject of the Baptist/Christian faith. I am an active member of a Baptist Church Fellowship. I study the Bible and the Scriptures every day and have no problem talking to people about this. I am more than happy to answer the Lord's calling and help and support all people that are in need. I believe that is now my role in life.

Experience

Some times people go the wrong way in life because they have been let down by those that are close to them. It is all about trust, compassion and support. I carry out a lot of outreach work, so I know how important these things are to be able to reach people. I have worked with drug addicts and the homeless, as well as young people who have lost their way in life or are in prison.
