Question
Pastor Don,If females are not supposed to become Pastors(1 timothy 2:11-14)than why are there so many of them preaching in our Baptist Churches today? Speaking scripturaly only,I would like to know the scriptures verses others are using to support female Pastors, apparently they are bypassing (1 timothy 2:11-14) or else their interpretation of this scripture is different. Whoever God wants to preach his word from behind the pulpit is of corse what all Christians want, I'am sure.I don't mean to sound negative but Sometimes these things are so confusing,just when you think you have got some of these scriptures figured out,someone will usually come along with one or several other interpretations.Hopefully,speaking for all Christians,we just want to get it right for the "LORDS NAMESAKE".

John, when a woman can become the husband of one wife and figure out how a woman is not allowed to teach in 1 Tim 2 but a pastor has to be apt to teach then maybe she can be a pastor. Many get around this by dinging Paul and calling him a sexist or that he was just preaching his opinion but they have to rip out many Scriptures to get to those conclusions. Not everyone wants to get it right they just want to do what they want to do. We are in an age of apostasy and iniquity. Don't let that unnerve you. Just study to show yourself approved. Blessings to you as you seek His will!
