Baptists/Your Answer on "Where Will Dead People Go?

Question
Loved your answer but leaves me confused as to seeming to be a conflice in the question of folks who die after the ascension of Christ.  In one place you write: "Eddie, I hope this helps to grasp a little that born again believers go to Heaven and nonbelievers go to Hell when they die.'
Then further on you write "There will be a judgment day for believers and nonbelievers who are in hell at this present time. This will the Judgment seat of Christ and Great White Throne, respectively."
I am wondering if there should be inserted a fuller description of where the "believers" are located, such as writing "There will be a judgment day for believers who are in heaven and nonbelievers who are in hell at this present time."  Or what actually did you mean?

Answer
Thank you Priscilla for your question. When one is reading Revelation, they will notice that there a JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST AND THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT. These two different events in two different times during the Tribulation, Millennial Reign, and then the White Throne Judgement.

What is confusing is the word "judgment." The Judgment Seat of Christ is also called the BEMA JUDGMENT. It is for saved believers who have already died and gone to Heaven. So these saints are already in Heaven with Jesus. This is just for believers. The nonbelievers will get their's later.

Now, the Judgment Seat of Christ is not a judgment done by the Lord Jesus to determine if one is saved or not, or if one is going to Hell or Heaven. But it is a judgment of rewards based on what the each believer did for the cause of Christ while he or she was on Earth. Some will recieve many crowns and some will recieve a few crowns based on their works for the cause of Christ while on Earth.

The White Throne Judgment takes place after the Millennial Reign. All nonbelievers throughout all ages who refused to take Jesus as their Savior or to believe in God Almighty, will be judged by the Lord Jesus and sent to the Hell including Satan, Antichrist, and False Prophet and they will be bound and locked there forever.

I hope this helps.
