Question
In our church which is Southern Baptist,We are in search of a Pastor. The members want to have communion Easter sunday.I was wondering with out a pastor could any of the members could conduct the service.

Answer
Tony:
The only biblical requirement for communion is that it be done. It is one of the ordinances  that God gave to the church. In the absence of a Pastor someone else may be given the authority to administer communion. That is just a general practice. You may want to consult your church constitution and bypass to see if they specifically address communion.
