Question
Hello. I have been studying martial arts all my life. I love all the different styles. I have recently been getting more into Ninjutsu. I came across a website called www.ninjakujiin.com , well this website is basically the meditation Ninja's use to gain more focus and all the other abilities that are mentioned on the website. Well i am not going to be using this practice in a bad way. I am going to use it towards my martial arts path. I am a Christian-baptist. I love the Lord Jesus Christ. Would it be a sin for me to use this as my martial arts training?

Answer
Hi Derrik,

Meditation is a wonderful thing and many christians use meditation to focus and find time with God.
As long as you have said you are not going to use this practice in a bad way, I do not see a problem with it.
Martial arts gives you a personal discipline, we all need that, and God wants us to have it.
So no Derrik I personally do not see it as a problem.

Regards and God Bless

Expertise

I can answer most questions on the subject of the Baptist/Christian faith. I am an active member of a Baptist Church Fellowship. I study the Bible and the Scriptures every day and have no problem talking to people about this. I am more than happy to answer the Lord's calling and help and support all people that are in need. I believe that is now my role in life.

Experience

Some times people go the wrong way in life because they have been let down by those that are close to them. It is all about trust, compassion and support. I carry out a lot of outreach work, so I know how important these things are to be able to reach people. I have worked with drug addicts and the homeless, as well as young people who have lost their way in life or are in prison.

I do not call them clients, they are people in need of the love of God and of people. I have mentored many young people, including those that are in our local prison, to hopefully live an honest and Christian life.
