Baptists/Relationship Question

Dear Pastor, My neighbor has lived with her partner for over 30 in a gay relationship. She got saved many years ago and is still living with her partner but not sexual anymore. She does not go to church. They still live like a married couple financially and in every other aspect of their lives. Do you think she should not be living with her partner if she is truly a christian now, or does it make any difference to God? Thank You

Thank you for your question and your concern for your neighbor. God is against any kind of relationship such as you described that is carried on outside the bonds of marriage. In addition He specifically condemns homosexuality in any and all forms.   There doesn't need to be sexual activity taking place for there to be an intimate relationship. God intended that relationship to be between a man and a woman.
