Hello and thak you for your time!

What does the reference to Honour thy Father and Mother in Mt 15:1-11 and Mark 7:5-16 mean?

Are they teaching that there is a Biblical mandate to provide for your parents when they are old and the scribes and pharisees were saying that if you give a gift to the temple than you were not obligated to provide for your parents and Jesus said
they made the Word of God of none effect by their actions.

What if the child is married and has their own family now?

Zeek, it does mean to prize them and revere them.  Yes, you are to provide and help your parents in their old age even if you are married and have your own family.  That may mean having them move in with you or you moving in with them as well as money.  Without them you would not be here and they raised you to adulthood.   Note, that Jesus does not save honor them only if they were good parents.  It is actually one of the Ten Commandments with a warning that not to do so could shorten your life here whereas doing so would increase your life here.  In Ephesians, children are commanded to obey their parents, which be a part of honoring them, to have a longer life.
