Baptists/Baptists and Communion

Question
I was told that Baptists are not permitted to attend services where:
- Communion (non-Baptist rite) is celebrated
- That only services in a church building can be attended
- That Christmas is not celebrated unless it falls on a Sunday

I understand that there are different Baptist denominations, but does this make sense? Thank you for your time.

Answer
Blessings and thank you for your questions.

As a Baptist, I do not have a problem with any of these things.  I will celebrate communion in another church.  In fact, our church celebrates open communion, meaning anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is allowed to celebrate with us.  I believe you can worship God anywhere, not just in church buildings.  We celebrate Christmas and have Christmas services every year.

I hope this answers your questions. Blessings
