Question
Trying to find good Christian web sites that
would appeal to my daughter and her friends.
Their ages are 8 1/2 to 12 years old.
The reason for this request is because today
my 8 1/2 yo daughter's  friend tried to introduce her to a site that included astrology, horoscopes and similar stuff.

Answer
Dear Don,
Thank you for writing and for being so caring and diligent about your daughter's activities.  An excellent website is www.wonderzone.com.  Child Evangelism Fellowship sponsors the site and there are adventure lessons, games, daily devotions, greeting cards, and trail guides who respond to each lesson or question, etc.  New adventures are in the making also.
This website http://hiskidsradio.gospelcom.net/quicklinks/  looks good.  I found it mentioned on the website of gospelcom.net.  The Children's Bible Hour website looks really interesting also, http://cbh.gospelcom.net/  You may find more at www.gospelcom.net/ministries/
Hope this gets you started.  I'm asking God to protect your daughter from evil influences and to help her be a good influence on her friends.
May the Lord bless you as you continue in this most awesome job of parenting.

Expertise

I have time for you. The Bible has been my guiding light for most of the 56 years of my life. My missionary parents in Brazil kindled a love for God`s Word by their example and their love for truth. The Lord has blessed my husband and me with responsible, independent children who love and serve the Lord and are our best friends. I would enjoy discussing any subject or problem from a Biblical perspective.

Experience

I help lead music in a small Southern Baptist Church. Although I rarely have the opportunity to play, I do play the bass guitar, drums, tambourine, harmonica and piano. I like Southern Gospel and praise choruses, but only know by heart the words from the hymnal, and my vocal range is half an octave lower than most music is written, but fortunately my husband transposes well and also plays by ear.
