Question
Hi,

I'm a 100% white male and a non-racist. I don't understand why some people of different races hate each other so much and are willing to do harm or even kill others of a different race. I feel that God created us with different skin colors and other features. Therefore, if God created us differently who are we to question God? Surely, if God created us all and loves us, then why can't we love other races? We can still be brothers and sisters even though we look different, right?

I also, feel marriage between races is fine because we're all human and all equal in God's sight.

Other than hate and ignorance, are there any Bible reasons why some so called Christians are against certain races? Are there Bible reasons why some Christians believe you must marry within your own race? I ask this last question because it seems like many while people are having trouble having children these days. I thought if whites married non-whites, perhaps the genetic problems they are having would be resolved because the genes of another race would improve their ability to have children.

Answer
There are no biblical reasons to hate anyone because of skin tone or physical features.  There is only one race and that is the human race. We are all from Adam and Noah so we are all kin.

Race is an evolutionary term and Christians should not use it. There are vearious people groups but only one race.  Evolution fuels racism for it created racism and disparity between them.  Darwin's book is "Origin of the Species and survival of the favored races."  The Bible says we are all of one blood so there are no races in God's eyes.

All men are my brothers through Creation but some are my eternal brothers through the New Creation.

Genetically, there is only one race.  Spiritually, there are two.  Lost and Saved.  If you are marrying a person of like faith then color or eye shape or any other physical attribute does not matter.

Ironically, the reasons there such differences is because each group has been overly inbred.  Adam and Eve may well have been a moderate brown color.  All people are brown, not White, Black, Red or Yellow.  I am a light brown.  Jesse Jackson is a dark brown and Vicente Fox, Sitting Bull and Connie Chung are moderate brown folks.  If we were all to start breeding with the various shades we might even out and some shades may even disappear over time.

Jesus the God of the Brown men since we are all Brown. Marry within the race that will live forever and the rest doesn't count.

Blessings to you as you love all men for Christ died for all men.
