QuestionQUESTION: How do we know that God didnt make people gay? I mean correct me if Im wrong but did the new testament adress this at all? In other words we are Christans and that means new testament belivers and the new testament changed the old ways so did that mean anything for gays? And Im not trying to be hostile at all but if gay people were not born gay then why do so many gay teens hide the fact that thay are gay if thay could simply change ? there are some very serious questions and I need serious answers Please
ANSWER: The new Testament does address gay people. I also do not want you to think that the Old Testament does not apply. We as Christians are under a covenant with Christ, but that does not mean that we disregard the Old Testament. I would like to to look at these verses and see what you feel after.
Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. (Leviticus 18:22)
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them." Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him and said, "No, my friends. Don't do this wicked thing." (Genesis 19:5-7)
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. (Romans 1:26)
In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. (Romans 1:27)
Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. (Romans 1:27)
The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves. (Isaiah 3:9)
For a man's ways are in full view of the LORD, and he examines all his paths. (Proverbs 5:21)
No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. (1 John 3:6)

QUESTION: Once again what about people who claim to have been born gay, and if they were not born gay then why do so many gay teens Hide it in fear if they could simply just change? From a spritual standpoint?
AnswerI just need to have you see it one way. God did not make anyone gay, they choose to be gay. God created everything. Man choose to sin and that is what brought the pain and suffering into the world. God does not make people gay. If someone feels they are gay then they are making a choice. A person can chose to live in all kind of sin. If someone chooses to be a sexual deviant then they make that choice. The sin comes when we give into that feeling. The homosexual in the world would have us all believe that they did not choose to be the way they are. They could also choose not to be gay. They just take the easy path and choose to fulfill their unnatural lust and their hearts desires. They are no different then someone who chooses to be in porn. They were not born that way but they give in to their temptations and lust. When sin entered into the world all that God created was affected by the mistake. We were created to live for much longer than we live now. The first humans before the flood lived to be between 700-960 years old. We do not live that long anymore do we. God made us to live only 120 years after the flood. I guess if people want to choose to be gay that is their choice, but God did not create them that way.
