Question
Do you believe the King James Bible is the perfect word of God?  If so, then why?

Answer
    There are good folks who disagree on this issue, and it has divided churches and Christians for decades.  
    I believe that God performed the act of inspiration when the Holy Ghost moved holy men of God to pen the Scriptures (2 Peter 1:20, 21). God only wrote one Bible.  I believe that the KJV is not inspired, as were the original autographs, but that it is the preserved Word of God for English-speaking people (Psalm 12:6, 7).  I preach and teach from the KJV but if someone brings another translation to my church I don't stop them at the door.
