Question
Mrs.Lyons,I prayed all night that you would have the time to answer my question before the weekend.
At my work,we access the internet through our e-mail file,so when I get a response I can't just click on it!Unfortunatly I have to type out the entire http://allexperts........etc in the URL box.

For some reason,if that address includes a (&)in it I cant get it to look right,as I just typed it,it looks right, but when I'm typing in MY URL box the (&) comes out differtly and keeps saying PAGE NOT FOUND!!

I'm completly heart-broken,and pray to God that you still have your response in your computer!!!!

I BEG you to resend it so that the address doesn't have a (&) in it,or PLEASE send it to
kmcintosh@usmfg.com

I'll be praying that I recieve it before I leave tonight at 10:30

This is a brother in thr LORD begging (ha-ha)

Answer
Dear Kevin,
I'm not sure what time zone you are in, but I found someone to take my place with the garage sale, so I will try to answer before 10:30 pm.
Our son's church is going through some rough times as their pastor has been demonizing anyone who disagrees with him on anything.  He fires deacons on his own without any support from other deacons or anyone else in the church. (He finally said he would be leaving soon.)  When you get differing views on your questions, it could be minor differences that help the body of Christ adapt to different circumstances and different needs, like the differences between an eye and an ear, or hand or foot (I Cor.12:17, 21).  Then again, it could be major differences, like trying to interpret the Bible to condone homosexuality.  An example is that evolution takes the factual small changes in species that help them adapt to different circumstances, and extrapolate a change from a rock to a human after millions or billions of years.  They ignore evidence from thousands of years of dog breeding that a sterility ceiling is reached after so many changes.  So Christians can differ to some degree in order to have a healthy, fully functioning body, but trying to be all-inclusive leads to death of Christianity.
It's almost 10:30 pm so I'll send this, but keep working on writing you, ok?

I have time for you. The Bible has been my guiding light for most of the 56 years of my life. My missionary parents in Brazil kindled a love for God`s Word by their example and their love for truth. The Lord has blessed my husband and me with responsible, independent children who love and serve the Lord and are our best friends. I would enjoy discussing any subject or problem from a Biblical perspective.

Experience

I help lead music in a small Southern Baptist Church. Although I rarely have the opportunity to play, I do play the bass guitar, drums, tambourine, harmonica and piano. I like Southern Gospel and praise choruses, but only know by heart the words from the hymnal, and my vocal range is half an octave lower than most music is written, but fortunately my husband transposes well and also plays by ear.
