Baptists/Pope...a Nazi?

Question
Hi,

I read a response you sent someone about the identity of the Anti-Christ. I'm no fan of the Roman Catholic Church. Yes the man who is now the pope is German, but he never considered himself a Nazi. He was forced to join the Hitler Youth, but hated it. His father was opposed to Nazism, and a relative of his, who had downs syndrome, was killed by the Nazi eugenics campaign. He entered the seminary during the war, but was drafted against his will. He was no nazi, just a German who lived during that time period.

I am not supporter of the RCC, but I don't like telling lies about people, even if those people are the heads of the RCC.

Sorry: Joshua

Answer
I understand your perspective and yes many who served in the military were forced there or being patriotic without knowing what was happening in other areas or in the government but they were still technically Nazis whether they were philosophical ones or not.  So no lie was spoken.

We are all only as good as our sources and I had not ever seen the information you provided.  Thank you for that.
