Question
Hi Pastor Carpenter,
I thought that I had read a bible verse in the past indicating that it was as much a sin to be unfair to one's self as being unfair to others, but I can't seem to remember it's location in scripture. Would you know of any verses which support the above?
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Mike Eidson, LAc.

Answer
Hi Mike,

I would like to think of myself as a pretty good Bible student.  I have been reading the Bible through consecutively since 1982, but I cannot recall or find any verse that would meet with your discription.  Perhaps you were mistaken?  If you do find the verse, I would love to know where it is.  You may e-mail me directly at ebc@cleaninter.net.   Sorry I could not help.

In Christ,
Pastor Don

Expertise

I believe that every word of the Bible is God-Breathed. This blessed book is the foundation of truth for faith and practice. If you ask this volunteer a question you will receive an answer from the Bible that is based upon a litteral, normal interpretation, taking into account the grammar and culture of the time.

Experience

I have been in the ministry almost 20 years. During this time, the Lord has used me as Senior Pastor, counsellor, youth pastor and generally in the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry.
