Question
Do baptist condone abortion? Iam thinking about joining a baptist church, but I can not find any information on how baptist view abortion. I am very much against abortion and could not be a member of a church that believes that abortion is a womans right.

Answer
There is no official Baptist position on abortion, although I would say that most Baptists oppose it.  Each local Baptist church is autonomous, and therefore you would need to ask the pastor or members of any given church to find out where they stand on the issue.
