Question
I was wondering about baptist church service...do baptist have a commumion/eucharist celebration during the service, what about wine?
Is it similar to the Catholic religion?

Answer
Baptists do not, as a general rule, have communion (often referred to as "The Lord's Supper") on a weekly basis.  Communion is more often on quarterly (every third month) or monthly basis.  Through the 19th century, Baptists regularly used wine in communion services, but today that practice is nearly extinct, as grape juice is used by most Baptist churches.  The Baptist understanding of communion is that the observance is a remembrance of Christ's death. Catholics, of course, believe the elements of communion are transformed into Christ's actual flesh and blood.

I hope this helps.
