In your opinion, which other Christian denominations are closest to Baptists?

Hi Tim,
   Thanks for your question.  In my exerience some of the Bible churches are very baptistic or better New Testment churches.   There are other individual churches also who would follow the New Testament guideline for faith and polity.   I do not know of a denomination that follows what we baptist call the Baptist distinctives...or New Testament distinctives of a biblical church.

    Please be advised that there are a growing number of churches that call themselves Baptists who in truth have little in common with biblical Baptists or a New Testament church.

I have been a pastor since 1981 and a Independent Baptist missionary church planter since 1986. I have seen the Lord establish four Bible believing churches in Utah. The materials on the web site are mostly written by myself and contain sermons, Bible commentaries, articles on various biblical subjects.
