Question
i use to be excited  full of life serving the lord, but lately the excitement has diminished, the desire has dropped, pray ,read my bible teach sunday school. what is happening

Answer
Blessings and thank you for your question,

First of all, what you are going through is normal.  Every believer goes through periods where they feel distant from God.  We have times when we feel God is very close and times God is very far away.  But, God doesn't move.  It is only our perception that changes.

It is okay that you feel the way you do.  God may be testing you or refining you.  Don't stop praying and reading your bible.  While these things are difficult now, you will find that the Lord will continue to use these times.  Being refined is not a pleasant experience, but God is going to bring you out of this better than before.
