Question
what is the difference between Southern Baptist and Baptist?

Thanks for your question. However, I am a little unclear about something. I can give you the basic tenants of the Souther Baptist, but what are the other "baptist" are you referring to? Missionary, independent, ect...?
As to what Southern Baptist believe, that could get rather lengthy. To make things easier, here is the Southern Baptist Convention statement of faith web site...
