I am a lifelong baptist....although I journeyed serveral times to other faiths without success and always came "home."  I cannot understand the objection to introducing the apostles creed into our worship service.  Saying we won't say a  creed because we have the bible is akin to refusing to say the Pledge of Allegiance because we have the United States Constitution.

Are we not carrying protestation a bit far.

Since our faith provides that every man and woman is given the privilege of interpreting the scriptures for themselves, your answer demands that every Baptist be literate.

We have the greatest Sunday school class on the planet, and not one is an egghead.  We don't impose thoughts on anyone, but discuss endless possibilities.  Proof....we have none.  Our belief is based on faith alone.  Figuratively speaking, Adam, who prior to eating the apple was incapable of knowing sin.  He disobeyed God, learned sin and died a spiritual death.  Simle enough.  This ability to know sin was, without a doubt, transferred to his progeny.  Until we know the physiology of a thought, we will never know how it was done. Just because I am an artist doesn't mean my child is born with the ability to draw. Come on folks, enter the fray.  Speak your piece. The more we talk the stronger our faith becomes.  Never be afraid to express your feelings.  Even those with all the degrees cannot explain why we have eyes, and although chickens may have changed, the learned ones have never been able to explain how the worm was transferred into a chicken.  The origin of the bird was professed for years by those with knowledge to be a dinosaur.  Then it was found to be a bird.  "Nuff said.
