Question
hello rev;

        yes i did commit a crime and i did own up to it, but in 1 corinthians 6:1-8 paul says why take your matters before a court of unbelivers?  and when i was in court god or the bible were not present.

Answer
Hello again Troy,
In 1 Corinthians Paul is suggestig that one Christian should not take another to court over a civil dispute. That is if the only one to suffer from the crime is an individual believer then that believer should seek to deal with the matter outside the courts. If others have suffered too and the crime is a crime against the state then the individual believer cannot make that decision.
I do not know your individual circumstances Troy but I am deeply saddened that your church was not able to restore you after discipline and help you rebuild your life.
I wish you God's blessing.
