Question
Hi

i live in Fiji and i noticed that Fiji is not on the list of the countries requiring a visa to enter Barbadoes. Is this the case? i plan to visit March 2007, so could you please let me know?

Thanx.

Answer
Hello,

Fiji is NOT on the list of countries requiring a visa to enter Barbados, and Fiji does not require visitors from Barbados to have a visa.

Australians and New Zealanders require a passport, but none of the islands in the South Pacific are listed on Barbados visa requirements.

Normally the rules apply both ways for countries - since your country does not require visitors from Barbados to have a visa, it would be normal for Barbados not to require a visa from your countrymen.

Although it does appear you would not need a visa to enter Barbados, I would suggest you contact a travel agent in Fiji to be absolutely sure, or contact your islands immigration service.

You're the first person I've communicated with online from Fiji. I have not been to Fiji, but several of my clients absolutely love your island, and the surrounding islands. Hope to get there one day soon. Have a great time in Barbados, and sorry I could not be of more assistance.
