AnswerHello,
If you are already booked to land in Caracas, the cheapest way to get to Barbados will be by air via British West Indies Airlines (BWIA).

The distance between Barbados and Caracas is a little over 500 miles. The flight goes into Trinidad, and then flies into Barbados. There is no direct flight from Caracas into Barbados that I am aware of.
Unlike Barbados, you will need to keep all your valuables close at hand while in Caracas. Thieves are known to snatch watches, or any kind of jewelry and cameras.
If you are not already booked, your next option would be to fly into Guyana and then on to Barbados. Check the BWIA site above for air connections.
Also, have you checked flights from South Africa into Europe, and then on to Barbados?
I hope you already have your hotel room, if not you should book ASAP. Many of the properties are already starting to fill up.
Have a great time!
