Barbecue/Rotissierie grilling...

Question
Do I really need a 'dedicated' burner (infare or other) to get good rotisserie chicken or can I just use the main burners (using a spit, of course)?

This option adds about $60-$70 dollars to the price of a grill I'm interested in.

Thanks

Answer
Randy,

No you don't need it, but might want it...

For the main burners, how many?  3-4?  If so, grill indirect, by turning off the inside burner(s) and leaving the outside on med - low.  For the last 5 - 10 minutes, turn on the inside to med - med high to crisp the skin (watch it closely so it doesn't burn).

If you have 2 burners, then I would buy the optional burner.
