Question
I have a 3 burner gas grill should i only turn on one burner to cook the butts, i will be cooking two i will be using wood chips it foil,

Answer
Hi,
Ideally I would use the left and right burner and place the butts in the center of the grill to cook. If this isn't possible you can use one burner but you will have to rotate the roasts around since the roast closer to the heat source will get done faster if left in once place.
The most important thing is preheating your grill to 225 and maintaining that temperature for many hours (10 plus). Its good you are using the wood chips in foil to give it a smokey flavor.

Happy grilling!

Misty
