Barbecue/gas grill

Question
I have a new Weber gas grill with stainless grates.  Should I wash them after every use and what about oiling them?  Can I spray with Pam?

Answer
Marilyn,

Certainly you can wash them everytime, but it will get old.  I generally clean thorougly once/twice a year.  Everytime before using, oil the grates with some oil on a paper towel with a pair of tongs.  Heat the grill prior to oiling the grates and turn off before oiling the grates.  You can spray with pam, put rubbing it with oil removes grime.  Always use a grill scraper before oiling.  This will remove baked on grime.
