Question
I have a Brinkman Proseries 2600 grill with porcelain grates.  The grates have started to loose their porcelain coating during cooking, even with appropriate cleaning.  How can I get these replaced with stainless grates?  They are not available through Brinkman.

Answer
Joanie,

I would measure the existing grates or even take them with you and go to a store that sells replacement parts and see if you can get something.  Are you near a bbq galore (www.bbqgalore.com) store?  They have a lot of parts.  Most Home depot and Lowes sell replacment grates also, although SS may be hard to find.

Doing a google search I found:

http://www.musiccitymetals.net/  (this is bbq galore parts place)

Good luck.
