how many slabs of pork spare ribs do I need to feed 10 guest

Answer
Larry, figure on 1/2 a slab for each guest as a minimum.  If your guests are big eaters go for 1 slab.  Generally it depends on the size of the slab.  Also what else are you serving?  Any appetizers?  Are you cooking the entire slab or doing it St.Louis style. i.e. trim the spare ribs at the knuckle, leaving a 4 inch slab of ribs similar to baby backs.  If St Louis, figure on 3/4 slab as a minimum.
