Barbecue/Choice of chicken - roasting or frying?

Question
When selecting to use a rotisserie method of cooking a chicken, is it better to
choose a roasting or frying chicken?  Is one more flavorful and therefore worth
the extra cost and effort re: time, etc.?  Considering a cooking time commitment
of 1.25 hr to 1.5 hr, is one of the chicken choices more ideal?

Answer
Dennis,

The main difference between roasters and fryers is size.  Roasters are bigger, fed a slightly different diet and may be a little older than a fryer.  Roasters tend to a have a slight edge in flavor as they have more fat.  Personally, I tend to buy fryers as it is only the wife and myself so I don't need a bigger chicken.

It comes down to personal preference, in my opinion.
