Question
Dear John,
I have the CharBroil patio caddie that uses the ceramic briqettes.  I would like to purchase a larger size grill for family get togethers.  Do all Char Broil gas grills use the ceramic briquttes?

I would suggest doing a search for a model that you want and see what it comes with.  These are common place grills and come in many forms.

My opinion of the insides of gas grills is that it doesn't make a difference.  You could put stones in them.  Essentially all that they do is collect grease from what you cook.  This then burns off giving you "flavor".
