Barbecue/BBQ problem

Question
The flame on my BBQ goes out the second I release the intensity knob after starting.  Two of the four burners have the same problem.  There is plenty of gas in the tank, and the bbq is not that old.

Thanks

Answer
you may have an obstruction in the line, like a spider web.  Check the venturi tube at the opening where the air mixes with the gas.  You will need to use a q-tip on something similar to swab it out to try and clear it.  It could also be in the regulator but that is a more difficult problem and harder to diagnose.  Have you tried contacting the manufacturer?
Also try this method to reset the regulator (works with webers, I don't know about other brands).

Turn off all valves(tank and burners)
Disconnect the regulator from the tank
Open grill valves on high
Wait 1 minute, then turn gas valves off.
Reconnect regulator
Turn gas on slowly at tank
