Barbecue/Natural gas connect all the time?

Question
If I use a grill that connect to the house's natural gas supply, can I leave it
connected all the time?  or do I need to disconnect the grill from the house in
between each use?  (or, where can I find the answer to my question?)

Answer
Usually, from my understanding of how a natural gas grill works when properly installed, you have a shut off valve  located inside of the house for that appliance that you can shut off during times you don't use it or in the event of a gas leak. I am not certain how necessary it is to shut if off every time. However, you could contact your gas company that provides your gas or the contractor that installed the line to get a more solid opinion of the subject.
