How u doin. I'm 18 in college and I go to school in atlanta. The barber shops here charge 20 dollars a cut (and then i give a tip), and i just cant pay that much any more. I say about two years ago i bought some clippers, not knowing any better i bought some conairs. Well, they just didnt do the trick. So i stopped cutting my own hair. I want to give it a try again. And maybe start a little side business in my dorm hall, u know cutting hair. What are the best clippers to buy for BLACK FOLKS hair. Oh also, i just recently bought some Andis M3 trimmers. I bought those cause they were the most expensive (and u get what u pay for). How do i make them sharp like the way they do it in the barber shop and did i make a good choice with buying these trimmers.

Whats good Lee I would say the best clippers to get under $100 and works great what many barbers use in shops, are either Andis Masters, Wahls, or Oster fast feed. Either one you choose get all the guards for them. As far as the m3's to be honest I have no idea I only use Andis outliner or styliner but I'm sure they work just as good because Andis is a good clipper company.
