I was wondering what the prevailing thought is on salary/commission vs. chair rental.  Which is preferred from employees and what is preferred from owners,?  As a soon to be owner operator, (non barbering) I feel salary/commission allows more control and better business opportunities.

Hello John, I believe you sort of answered your own question, it all depends on the beholder, meaning I believe most barbers will like booth rental because they are in control of their own money but it is really all on you being the owner in either case you will still have complete control.
