For my english class, we are assigned to anaylize a song and its meaning and poetic features. What is the storyline and poetic features to "Lovers in a Dangerous Time"? or if you have any easier BNL songs for poetic storylines and themes go ahead and share your thoughts on that also. Thanks!

Although Barenaked Ladies do a very good version of Lovers In a Dangerous Time, the truth is that the song is actually a cover of a song (of the same name) by an artist called Bruce Cockburn.
