why did bare naked ladies chose this name 'barenaked ladies.

Answer
When Steve and Ed were kids, teenagers, they were at a Bob Dylan concert. At that show they were sitting there having fun, just throwing out whatever silly, stupid band names they could. Somebody said Barenaked Ladies, they liked it, it stuck. Ed has also said that it's like looking through the JC Penny lingerie ad when you are just a child, and the pure innocence of it. So it's come from a combination of Bob Dylan and Childhood innocence. That's that.

I know lyrics to all songs, including never been released songs. I know any general info on the guys including names, birthdates, kids, and pretty much anything else you need to know. All in all if I don`t know an answer off the top of my head, I can pretty much know where to find it, including Bnl message boards, news groups, fan club news letters,e-mail fan list letters and others.

Experience

I have been a fan since 1999 and have seen them live 9 times. I own all c.d.s and many singles, I have over 200 BNL mp3 all of which are unreleased. I've met the band twice. I am pretty much a huge fan.
