Question why did bare naked ladies chose this name 'barenaked ladies.
Answer When Steve and Ed were kids, teenagers, they were at a Bob Dylan concert. At that show they were sitting there having fun, just throwing out whatever silly, stupid band names they could. Somebody said Barenaked Ladies, they liked it, it stuck. Ed has also said that it's like looking through the JC Penny lingerie ad when you are just a child, and the pure innocence of it. So it's come from a combination of Bob Dylan and Childhood innocence. That's that.
