Question do u kno of a bunch of ther songs based on true events? and could u plz list them? and hav u read the authorized biography of the barenaked ladies. I must say that im only in the hundreds and all ready its quite interesting. And, is Buck naked also rare? because u never hear of it being rare..

I know of a couple songs that I am pretty sure are about true events. Just remember that I don't know everything that goes through their minds when they are writing songs. I am sure that more of them could be based on real events, but I don't have too much for evidence. Anyway I believe that "Leave" off of Stunt and "Am I the Only One" off of Maybe You Should Drive are about a decesed brother. This is just my interpretation of these two songs and I could be way off, but hopefully I'm not ;)
I have read Public Stunts, Private Stories and enjoyed it thoughoughly. I'm am glad to hear that you like it to! As for Buck Naked I have never seen a copy of it myself. It isn't sold anymore and I don't think it was ever sold in the States. So I guess you could consider it to be rare. However if your very lucky you could probably find it on ebay.
