Question
I am 15, a freshman, at an elite baseball program in Texas. I hit last on my select team, but here I am leadoff. I wanted to know what the job is of a leadoff hitter, any tips on how to be a good one, or anything else with the subject that you can think of.

Answer
A lead off hitter can't be afraid to hit with two strikes. He has got to take alot of pitches. His job is to allow the other hitters to see as many pitches as possible.Your job is to get on base how ever you can.Must have a good two strike approach. If you have good speed then you have got to use the bunt as a weapon. The last hitter and the first are alot alike.
